Our Center
A Quiet Place
At Whispers of the Jungle, we wanted to create the kind of place we would have wished to find ourselves — intimate, honest, and close to nature. Rather than a large retreat center, we chose a smaller space where people are known by name and experiences can unfold naturally. Here, healing work takes place not only in ceremony, but also in conversations, quiet moments, and life in the jungle itself.

Guides on your journey
Mestizo Palero
Don Pedro Guerra
Don Pedro has been a curandero since a very young age, following a lineage of healers that includes both his father and grandfather. From early on, his abilities were recognized and shaped through traditional practices, deepening his connection to the forest and its rhythms.
As a child, he learned the use of medicinal plants, but his path was formed through years of isolation in the jungle, where he lived alone and worked directly with the plants as teachers. During this time, he developed his understanding of illness and the use of icaros as a form of healing.
Today, Don Pedro lives simply in the forest, maintaining his land and daily routines like others in his community. Alongside this, he continues his work as a healer — preparing plant medicines, consulting his knowledge, and working with icaros to support those who come to him.
Shipiba Maestra
Celia Panduro Huayta
Celia Panduro Huayta is a Shipibo Maestra Curandera who has been working with plant medicine for over 25 years.
As a female healer within the Shipibo tradition, she carries a lineage of knowledge passed down through generations.
She was raised in close relationship with the plants and trained from an early age in their use for healing.
In ceremony, she works with icaros and traditional methods to guide and support each participant.
Her presence combines clarity, strength, and care, creating a space that is both grounded and deeply attentive.

Curandero
Tomek
Tomek’s journey with plant medicine began early and gradually evolved into a deeper search for healing, nature, and traditional wisdom. Drawn to the master plants of the Amazon, he traveled to Peru to learn through plant dietas and work alongside Shipibo shamans, studying ceremony, healing practices, and the use of his own voice as a tool for connection.
Guided by experiences and insights received along the way, he eventually helped create Whispers of the Jungle — a place where plants remain the central teachers, and healing unfolds through nature, guidance, and direct experience.
Facilitator
Łukasz
Łukasz’s work begins with the body — exploring how movement, tension, and expression shape the way we experience ourselves and the world around us. Drawing from dance, martial arts, deep tissue massage, and sound, he creates spaces that invite presence, creativity, and genuine connection.
His journey with master plants eventually brought him to the Peruvian Amazon, where plant dietas deepened his path and strengthened his connection to healing through both nature and the body.
Facilitator
Marceli
Marceli’s work focuses on the connection between emotions, personal patterns, and the way we experience life and healing. Drawing from approaches such as Total Biology and Radical Forgiveness, he creates space for reflection, honest conversation, and new perspectives. In recent years, his connection to the Peruvian Amazon and its environment has become an important part of his journey.
At Whispers of the Jungle, he supports others with a grounded presence and a genuine curiosity for the personal paths people bring with them.
